Mel Powell is a native of North Carolina and returned to his roots in 2012 after living in Virginia and Florida for many years. Mel has over 25 years of experience in the restoration of homes and has developed an in-depth understanding of the process of purchasing, selling, remodeling, and investing. 

Mel joined Hall & Nixon Real Estate in 2013, and has been recognized twice by his peers with the Outstanding Service Award. He has earned Top Listing Agent and Top Sales Agent multiple times as well. He is involved with the community through his service with various local organizations, and is an accredited member of the Hometown Hero Project.
